By popular demand, we’re excited to offer a Railroad Spike Knife Making Class! In this intermediate to advanced course, students will forge their own custom knife from a higher carbon railroad spike, known for its durability and toughness.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Drawing out and profiling the blade
  • Shaping and refining the cutting edge
  • Twisting the handle for a unique, forged aesthetic

This class is perfect for those looking to expand their blacksmithing skills and craft a functional, handmade blade from start to finish.

Class Details:

  • Date & Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (7 hours of instruction with a 1-hour lunch break)
  • Class Size: Limited to 5 students
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older
  • Cost: $150 per student

What to Bring & Wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt (required for safety)
  • Safety glasses (must bring your own)
  • A water bottle
