Blacksmithing 105: Intro to Forge Welding

Forge welding is often seen as an advanced skill, but it’s actually a foundational technique in blacksmithing. In this hands-on class, students will create a simple fire poker, incorporating two forge welds. After completing the project, we’ll explore and demonstrate additional types of forge welding techniques.
This class is open to participants aged 16 and up, with a maximum of 4 students per session. Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult does not need to be a paying student but must remain outside the smithy during the class.
Cost: $150 per student, plus a $10 materials fee payable directly to the instructor on the day of the class.
