Join us on Friday, August 14, 2026, for another unforgettable evening in the Pickens Concert Series featuring New Dixie Storm with a special opening performance by the YAMS High School Band!
🏆 New Dixie Storm is an acclaimed Upstate South Carolina bluegrass band and the 2006 South Carolina State Champion Bluegrass Band. Known for their outstanding musicianship, rich harmonies, and authentic bluegrass sound, they’ve been entertaining audiences across the Southeast for years with a mix of traditional favorites, gospel, and contemporary bluegrass classics.
🎻 Opening the evening is the YAMS High School Band, featuring talented young musicians from the Young Appalachian Musicians (YAMS) program. These students are carrying on the rich traditions of Appalachian music through energetic performances of bluegrass, old-time, and mountain music while showcasing the next generation of local musical talent.
