Pickens Historic Hampton House 5K Run/Walk

This will be the first year for this race and is being held the morning of the Pickens Independence Day Spectacular. The race will be held in Pickens at the Historic Hampton House in Pickens, and the race will start and finish at the house.
The race is being held to raise money to help get the water fountains on the Doodle Trail working again. Age group awards will be given at 10 year intervals. Tee shirts: There will be no tee shirts for this race. The race has a low entry fee and all of the proceeds and donations will go directly to the cost of getting the water fountains on the Doodle Trail running again.
Parking: There will be no parking at the Hampton House due to space but there is plenty of parking at 120 Hagood St. and the Doodle Park in Pickens which is a short walk or jog to the starting line. Please try to register early if you plan to attend the event so we can keep expenses down, avoid waste and maximize the amount of funds to go towards the water fountains.
