Steppin’ In Pickens Square Dance and Line Dancing

Steppin’ In Pickens is back, and this time we’re adding LINE DANCING!

Join us for our second Steppin’ In Pickens Square Dance, an evening of music, dancing, food, drinks, and family-friendly fun for all ages.

New: Line Dancing! Our caller will be teaching line dances throughout the evening, so grab your boots and get ready to join in. No partner and no experience needed. Just jump in line and follow along!

Due to the large turnout at our first square dance, we’re moving this free event to the Heritage Pavilion at Hagood Mill Historic Site, with plenty of room to dance, visit, and enjoy the evening together.

Once again, we’ll have a live band and a caller to lead the dancing. Come early! From 6:00 to about 6:30, he’ll teach the basics of square dancing, perfect if you’ve never tried it. Later in the evening, he’ll also lead a partner dance like the Texas Two-Step, plus a little clogging.

Whether you’re an experienced dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time, come on out and join the fun!

Bring your family, bring your friends, and enjoy a fun Pickens evening together!
