Build a strong foundation in traditional herbal preparation with this hands-on Kitchen Apothecary class featuring Jewelweed. You’ll learn to positively identify the plant in the field, harvest it responsibly, and preserve its medicinal qualities using traditional methods without modern machinery.

The class includes a guided walk around the Hagood Mill grounds, plant identification, and kitchen demonstrations featuring Jewelweed and other seasonal plants. While this workshop stands on its own, it also provides an excellent foundation for the afternoon Jewelweed Workshop.
