About the Bluegrass Jam
Bluegrass jams have been part of Appalachian culture for generations.
Unlike scheduled performances, a jam is an informal gathering where musicians play together simply for the enjoyment of making music. You'll hear familiar tunes, traditional favorites, spontaneous improvisation, and plenty of opportunities for musicians to join in.
Every jam is a little different, making each visit to Pickin' in Pickens a unique experience.
